1. Do I need a car to work with JWR?
   If you have access to a car, we consider that to be a bonus, but not always a requirement:
   As a Local Promotion representative, you will work out of local mall and department stores. As Stores and Malls are mostly on transit routes, a car is not needed if you are comfortable using transit. In local areas, a team leader would set up the kiosk and provide you with all necessary supplies.
   As a Manager or Travel Representative, a vehicle is required. You will use your vehicle to travel longer distances, and bring some supplies for the promotions.
   
   
2. Do you provide travel allowances to Promotion Reps?
   Travel Representatives are provided with allowances. Because this position requires use of your vehicle, we offer a higher hourly wage. In addition, if you are required to stay overnight when traveling, JWR will cover that cost for you.
   Local Representatives that promote at stores or malls in a smaller geographical area are not provided with travel allowances.
   
   
3. I have commitments outside of work. What are the typical hours for a Promotion Representative?
   We look for both full time (40 hours/week) and part time (20 – 30 hours/week) employees. We are very flexible when having to work around your commitments outside of work, and try to accommodate you on your preferred working hours whenever possible.
   If you Promote for our Department store clients, your hours are very flexible. Hours are typically during Store peak hours. If you promote for our financial clients, hours are a little less flexible, and are during peak mall hours.
   
   
4. I’m looking for an opportunity to work outside of my hometown. Is this possible with JWR?
   Yes! As we promote right across Canada, we have constant opportunities for local representatives to try traveling to nearby towns, or right across Canada!
   
   
5. I’m looking for an opportunity to work close to home. Is this possible too?
   Yes! As we promote at over 500 locations across Canada, we have a location close to you!
   
   
6. Where is your Head Office located?
   Our Head office is at 3823 Henning Drive, in Burnaby, British Columbia, just south of Lougheed Highway and Boundary, just across from the Bridge Film Studios, behind the Accent Inn. We also have offices located in Edmonton AB, Calgary AB, Winnipeg MB and Toronto ON.
   
   
7. I’m looking for a career, not a job. Can JWR provide me with growth opportunities?

8. What should I wear to my interview with JW Research?
   Our dress code is corporate/business casual. Please keep in mind that you will be meeting employees of JW Research for the first time, and will probably want to make a good impression.
   
   
9. How does JWR’s pay structure work?
   You will be paid a base hourly wage, plus commission above your base. This structure provides you with a stable, reliable, competitive base wage, plus the opportunity for unlimited earning potential, so we can reward you for a job well done!
   
   
10. I do not have experience in promotions, but I offer a strong background in Retail Sales/Customer Service/Hospitality/Marketing. Do I still qualify for a position with JWR?
    We look for candidates that have previous experience in direct sales/marketing/customer service with consumers. We provide you with paid, comprehensive training in order to educate you on the promotion process and on the features of our clients’ program.
